what do we educate the clients on about removal of stables or sutures?

A

Observe for signs of wound edge separation before removing
remaining sutures/staples; inspect incision.
 Reinforce instruction on daily activities (ie. showering, listing, diet)
 Avoid placing stress on the suture line.
 A small amount of drainage may be expected immediately after
suture removal
