A: Abduction (esp. first 30deg), and stabilization of GH joint in motion

O: Infraspinous fossa of scapula
I: Middle facet of the greater tubercle of the humerus, joint capsule
A: ER, stabilization
N: Suprascapular nerve
Teres Minor
O: Superior lateral border of scapula
I: Inferior facet of the greater tubercle of the humerus
A: ER, stabilization
N: Axillary nerve
Subscapularis
O: Subscapular fossa of the scapula
I: Lesser tubercle of the humerus
A: IR, stabilization
N: Upper and lower subscapular nerve
Deltoids
Anterior:
O: Lateral 1/3 of clavicle
Middle:
O: Acromion process
Posterior:
O: Posterior border of the scapula
I: deltoid tuberosity of the humerus
Anterior:
A: Horizontal adduction, flexion, IR
Middle:
A: Abduction (with anterior and posteriors fibers firing together)
Posterior:
A: Horizontal abduction, extension, ER
N: Axillary nerve
Pectoralis Major
O: Medial 1/3 of the clavicle, sternum, costal cartilages of ribs 1-7 (and aponeurosis of external obliques)
I: Lateral lip of the intertubercular groove of the humerus
A: Flex/Ex, horizontal adduction, IR, adduction
N: Medial and lateral pectoral nerve
Latissimus Dorsi
O: Spinous processes of T7-L5 via the thoracolumbar fascia, sacral and iliac crests, posterior iliac crest, Ribs 8-12, inferior angle of the scapula
I: Floor of the intertubercular groove of the humerus
A: IR, Extension, Adduction
N: Thoracodorsal nerve
Reverse OI: Anterior pelvic tilt
Teres Major
O: Lateral border of the scapula, inferior angle of scapula
I: Medial lip of intertubercular groove of humerus
A: IR, Extension, Adduction
N: Lower subscapular nerve
