STEP 1- Perform hand hygiene

STEP 2- Don cap or hood. Make sure all hair is covered.

STEP 3-Don mask, making certain that nose and mouth are completely covered and nose piece fits snugly.

STEP 4- Put on gown, one arm in, then the other. Fasten gown securely, making sure that the uniform is completely covered. Tie at the neck then at the waist.

STEP 5- Don gloves. Cuffs of gown should be covered with the gloves (closed gloving technique)

Answer 2

STEP 1- Remove/untie or pull or tear gown (some gowns are linen vs. paper)

STEP 2- Remove gloves as gown sleeves are pulled off. Fold contaminated surface of gown inward.

STEP 3- Discard gown and gloves

STEP 4- Remove mask but do not touch contaminated face portion. Handle the ties/strings or rubber band only and discard.

STEP 5- Remove cap or hood

STEP 6- Perform hand hygiene
