for rate of speech, is feedback better after every attempt or after every 5 attempts in terms of retention after 10 days?

hyp –> if we give feedback every single time they will be guided all the time, but we want them to generalize it and retain it to the real world

Question 2

for slowing down a pt’s rate of speech, is it better to focus on one task (ex. 60 wpm) or multiple tasks (ex. 60 and 80 wpm) for rentention?

hyp –> establishing some sort of rate map, so if you have multiple targets you have a comaprison point - I.e. if you know the rate of 60 you can check in to see if you are doing the rate of 80

Question 3

imagine that we are trying to help a pt learn to use 2 new slow rates of speech (60-80 wpm) - is blocked practice (60, 60, 60 … 80, 80, 80) or random practice (60, 80, 60, 60, 80) better for retention?
