Hard to determine which one is the best as they have all have pros and cons
Impact of intervention depends on type of behaviour, population being targeted and the context

Why don’t people behave in ways that promote health?

A

Lack capability (inadequate knowledge and/or skills)
Insufficient opportunities
Motivation to engage in healthy behaviour is lacking
→ healthy behaviours are usually unpleasant, difficult, boring and unhealthy behaviours are usually enjoyable or meet immediate needs

A

Physical and psychological capability: knowledge, skills, strength and stamina
(If they don’t know how to do it or lack the skills to be able to do it then its impossible to do!)

A

(need to have the resource to be able to make the change and become healthier)

A

Reflective and automatic motivation: plans, evaluations, desires and impulses
(got to have the want or the encouragement to be able to stick at it if though its hard)
