- Job sector people work in
- How much money it has
- The size if its military
- The type of government it has e.g. democracy
- The products it makes or has access to (e.g. countries that have oil tend to be powerful)
- Influential culture e.g. McDonalds from America.

What does ‘GDP’ mean?
It stands for Gross Domestic Product. It shows how much wealth a country has.
