Rapidly growing tumour, daily increases in size, fatal if untreated. May involve CNS at extranodal sites, risk of tumour lysis syndrome (tumour breakdown)
Lots of division and apoptosis giving a ‘starry sky appearance’ on biopsy. Nightly assoc with EBV
