Even though congestion has fallen between 10-15% the levels of air quality has roughly remained the same.
What is the purpose of biking superhighways in London?
To allow bikers to safely reach central London through riding their bike.

What is RE-FIT?
It is a scheme to reduce londons carbon footprint by improving insulation, upgrading old electronic equipment and installing energy efficient light bulbs in schools, town halls and hospitals.
What effect does less congestion have on the environment?
If there is less congestion that means that there are less cars in an area. This means less fumes are being emitted into the atmosphere improving air quality and there is less noise pollution from engines.
How was Heathrow’s terminal 2 made more environmentally friendly?
It was built from waste and rubble from the old terminal 2.
How many new rail passengers is cross rail predicted to transport?
Around 80,000 people
