Q

What is a “distance” individual tray necessary for?

A

A “distance” individual tray is necessary for:

  • Alginate (2mm space)
  • Elastomeric impression material (3mm space).
  • Photopolymerized trays appear to be the future because they are rigid, and they are easy to manufacture in the clinic, so we save a visit
