  • Jul 14 1933: Law for the Prevention of Offspring with Hereditary Diseases ( forced sterilisation of Gr with hereditary conditions -> 400,000 German= forcibly sterilised by 1939)
  • 1933: creation of ‘Pink lists’ -> banning of all LGBTQ groups + clubs ( stripped of civil rights = 53,400 convicted and imprisoned -> torture and death for 1000s)
  • 1935: homosexual male r/ship = banned-> 5,000-15,000 gay men sent to concentration camp
  • 1939: Secret ‘Aktion T-4’ Euthanasia Program= ‘Euthanising’ of mentally + physically disabled (panel of 3 medical experts made determination abt whether child would live -> est. 10,000 disabled children = murdered)

  • 1933: Law for the encouragement of Marriage (newly married receive govt loan of 1000marks -> birth of child reduces 25%, 2 for 50%, 4 for 100%/ motherhood cross awarded to women with many children)
  • new restrictions placed on contraception + abortions (propagandas: ‘abortion is a crime against the body and state’/ legal and encouraged abortion if the child was disabled or mother was non-Aryan)
  • 1935: Lebensborn (well being of life)program = encouraged women to have children with SS + give up babies for adoption

  • reinforced stereotypes that Jews were greedy + money hungry
  • spread ‘news’ and rumours with anti-semitic tilt = blood libels, Jewish sex offences etc.
  • linked Jews & communism together -> 2 main enemies of Germany
  • tagline= ‘Die Juden sind unser Ungluck’ (the jews are our misfortune)
