L1 Flashcards

1
Q

What is the matter around you made up of?

A

Q

On top and below each element in the periodic table there is a number, what do they mean?

A

The bigger number is always the atomic mass (the protons and neutrons added together) and the smaller number is always the atomic number (the protons, they are always equal to the amount of electrons).
