 Be appropriate in plan of evaluation and intervention. Everyone should have own intervention place.

Nonmaleficence

A

-Intentionally refrain from actions that cause harm
-Example: abandonment of patient and failure to act when one should
-Ex: pt falls in hallway, pt is left to sit in hall, room for extended period of time unattended.
 C. Avoid relationships with clients that conflicts with professional judgment
 D. No sexual relationship.

Fidelity

A

Treat others with respect, fairness, discretion and integrity.
 Respect traditions competencies and practices of others in the working environment. Ex: may be co-treating with a PT & they don’t know proper WB techniques. You don’t blast them out b/c you’d be discrediting them and then the pt wouldn’t want to see them any more even if they were in the right.
