A
The part of England between early 10th century & Norman conquest under anglo saxon rule where Danish laws applied.

- york (trade, capital of Danelaw, viking & christian religious tolerance)
- scotland & ireland (farmland, easy access to europe, slave-trading)
- iceland (fertile soil-volcanoes, uninhabited)
- greenland (uninhabited, source of food & fur)
- france (powerful, wealthy, christian centre, rivers for easy transport)

- buried with swords & shields (this practice reflects religions common in Europe before Christianity)
