What were reasons for USA involvement in Korea

How did the USSR and China get involved
Stalin supported North Korean leaders invasion of Korea
He supplied weapons and military advisors
Later he would supply fighter planes and fighter planes who pretended to be Chinese
China was concerned that the USA would invade China next so they sent 300’000 troops into North Korea and pushed UN forces back to the 38th parallel
What was the Impact on relations?
USA was successful in containment but not rollback
Relations between USA and USSR had improved following a ceasefire and peace settlement in 1953. Stalin had died in 1953 which further improved relations
China and USA were not in good relation and other conflicts in Asia were brewing
