Know it Flashcards
Engine out departure
Use rudder to maintain runway centerline
At Vr, the crew should rotate the aircraft using a continuous pitch rate of 3°/sec. towards an initial pitch attitude of 12.5°
When safely airborne, the flight crew should follow flight director SRS orders.
Once airborne, Use the rudder to center the beta target
Use rudder trim to gradually relieve the pressure from the rudder pedals while keeping the beta target centered.
Engage the AP
At the engine-out (EO) acceleration altitude, the flight crew should select push V/S knob to level off and enable the speed to increase.
When the speed trend arrow reaches the GREEN DOT speed, pull the ALT knob to engage OP CLB.
Set thrust levers to MCT when LVR MCT flashes on the FMA.
If the thrust levers are already in FLX/MCT, momentarily move the thrust levers to CL, and then back to MCT.
Takeoff thrust is limited to 10 minutes
