Medial meniscus
MOI: changing directions while running sudden twist with knee in slight flexion poor form in squats associated with ACL
Signs: pain swelling decreased ROM, knee feeling locked and giving way
Patella femoral joint syndrome
MOI: overuse, weakness of glutes, flat feet right post leg muscles and ITB places lateral force on tibia
Signs: knee pain at cap crepitus and knee giving way
Patella tendonipathy
MOI: prolonged repetitive stress knee extenders playing surfaces and jumping
SIGNS: anterior knee pain over patella tendon worse with jumps and prolonged sitting
ACL
MOI: direct contact , blow to lateral side when decelerating twisting sudden stop jumping. Unhappy triads
Signs: hear or feel pop brief hyperextended swelling after a few hours
PCL
MOI: force applied to anterior aspect of tibia when knee is flexed. Hyperextended and valgus varus rotation

MOI: contact valgus twisting with ER forces around the knee
Signs: instability and mechanical symptoms
