● MacConkey : Pink (very mucoid) colonies (because it’s lactose fermenter). This differentiates it from E.Coli.

4. Biochemical test:

● Oxidase: (-ve).

● Indole: (-ve).

● Citrate: (+ve). (the only bacteria that’s Citrate (+ve)
