A combination of translation and rotation

Motion of one object in relation to another

The movement of bones relative to 3 planes of movement (joint motions)

The joint surface movement of bones (rolls, glides, spins)
What is the difference between distance and displacement?
Distance- a measure of length of path along a path of motion
Displacement- Measure of length in a straight line from initial to final position
