- Observed that effect size may be somewhat conservative since exercise and sleep studies usually examine people without sleeping issues
- In general exercise has the biggest impact on sleep when the exercise is longer in duration and the exercise is completed earlier in the day

- Sleep disorders are very common in older people which can have negative impacts on health
- Can use behaviour cognitive therapy as a treatment
- Use meditative movement interventions (MMIs)
o Combine meditative focus with movement
o Body movement and breathing/ calm state of mind
o Has positive effect on health - Purpose is to assess the effects of MMIon improving sleep quality and physical outcomes in older people with sleep disorders
- Found that experimental group had better sleep quality than control except studies with intervention less than 3 times a week
