Erythropoietin released from peritubular cells in kidney

What does erythropoietin stimulate?
A
Production of pro erythroblasts (pronormoblast) that will then differentiate to become reticulocyte (polychromatic erythrocyte) in bone marrow
Polychromatic erythrocyte will mature to erythrocyte within blood

Fusion of adjacent cell membranes to create a barrier to passage of water and dissolved particles

A
Glomerular filtration flow over renal plasma flow- shows portion of fluid reaching kidneys, being filtered
