Abductive
Abductive reasoning is a form of logical inference which starts with an observation or set of observations, then seeks to find the SIMPLEST and MOST LIKELY explanation of the observations. Also known as the argument to the BEST INFERENCE
Analogy
A process of arguing from SIMILARITY in known respects to similarity in other respects
A posteriori
Reasoning or knowledge with proceeds from OBSERVATIONS or EXPERIENCES
Deductive
Deductive reasoning is the process of deductions from one or more statements(premises) to reach a LOGICALLY CERTAIN CONCLUSION
Epicurean hypothesis
The claim that over a long enough period of time, ORDER will NATURALLY FORM
Inductive
Inductive reasoning is a method of reasoning in which the premises are viewed as supplying some EVIDENCE for the TRUTH of the CONCLUSION
Spatial order
The observation/claim that things in the universe are WELL-ORDERED and work together with PURPOSE and REGULARITY (Swinburne calls this REGULARITIES of CO-PRESENCE)
Spatial Disorder
The observation/ claim that thing in the universe are NOT WELL ORDERED and don’t always work together with PURPOSE and REGULARITY

Temporal Order
The observation/ claim that events in the universe happen in REGULAR SUCCESSION in an ordered way (Swinburne calls this REGULARITIES of SUCCESSION)
