A

director = creative vision, appointed by producer and directs rest of staff what to do in order to achieve said vision
producer = in charge of the money and budget, approves directors requests such as scene building.

actual period of shooting - usually 6-10weeks because shooting is very expensive (most scenes are shot out of sequence)
