Superego
Our moral conscience
Controla impulses of the id, and persuades the ego to act morally
The superego could make a person feel guilt if the ego gives into the id
Pleasure principle
Wanting instant gratification, regardless of consequences
Reality principle
Wanting to behave in the most appropriate way in society
