What is agnosticism?
Agnostics believe that there is inconclusive evidence regarding the existence of God
What is Christianity?
A belief in the Jeudo-Christian God who sent his son, Jesus to die for the sins of the world to reconcile man with God.
What is polytheism?
Religions that portray through multiple deities.
What is theism
A belief in God’s existence.
What is monotheism?
Religions that portray God as one powerful deity.
What is humanism?
A philosophy that puts emphasis on humans being able to be happy whilst being kind and considerate to others. They put their beliefs on scientific fact and follow reason.
What is atheism?
A belief that there is no god in existence.
What is Islam?
The belief that Allah is the one true God.
He sent his final revelation to Muhammad the prophet.
They believe that with the Qur’an they and the five pillars of Islam they will gain forgiveness on judgment day.
What is Hinduism?
A soft polytheistic religion that emphasises Brahman as the high creator God whose attributes are shown through many different Gods and Goddesses. it is more focused on how one lives by Dharma than where our world came from.
What is a world view?
It is a persons outlook on the world.
What is a truth claim?
A statement that a person or belief system holds to be true. It is not true for everybody.
What is henotheism?
Adherence to one particular god out of several.
