A Rabbi was a Teacher/Leader in jewish faith. In ancient Judaism this would be a great honour since the Rabbi spent a lifetime studying Jewish Scriptures and tought us about it and Jewish Laws.

The high priest was a religious leader in charge of running the Temple. The Romans picked the High Priest. The most sacred task every year was to go into the most sacred part of the temple, The Holy of Holies.

The Sanhedrin was The Jewish Court System consisting of about 71 members mainly pharisees and Saducees. The Sanhedrin had the power to sentence someone to death.
