What is diffusion?
Diffusion is the spreading out of particles from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration.
What are guard cells?
Cells which open and close the stomata (pores) in a leaf.
What is a tissue?
a tissue is a group of similar cells that work together to carry out a particular function.
What is muscular tissue?
a type of tissue which contracts to move whatever it’s attached to.
What is glandular tissue?
a type of tissue which makes and secretes chemicals like enzymes and hormones.
What is epithelial tissue?
a type of tissue which covers some part of the body
What is photosynthesis?
process that produces glucose in plants and algae.

What is a catalyst?
a substance which speeds up a reaction without being changed or used up in the reaction.

The process of releasing energy from glucose which goes on in every cell.

are genetically identical cells formed from a cell division

When a species is wiped out due to organisms not being able to evolve quickly enough.
