A high angle shot is shot from above looking down upon subject matter. It could add to our understanding of a locations/scene, or it can make objects appear smaller (less significant) etc.

What type of shot is taken from LOWER than eye level?
LOW ANGLE shots are taken from below eye level.
They can create a sense of empowerment and intimidation.
They can also add to a sense of vulnerability e.g. if an unexpected or sinister object/character is revealed behind a protagonist
