What is homeostasis?
Homeostasis is when Any self-regulating process by which biological systems tend to maintain stability.

Muscles contract start to shiver

What is diabetes?
Diabetes is a lifelong condition that causes a persons blood sugar level to become too high
What does insulin do in the body?
Insulin helps regulate blood sugar levels in the body by allowing cells to absorb glucose
What happens to the glucose level in your body when insulin is released?
When insulin is released, it helps lower the glucose level in your body by allowing cells to take in glucose and use it for energy
Where is excess glucose stored?
Liver
Which hormone is released in response to an increase in blood glucose levels?
Insulin
Which organ releases insulin?
Pancreas
