What is a foldcourse?
A foldcourse = right to graze sheep on an enclosed piece of common land
What was the issue with the Norfolk foldcourse?
In some villages landowners were denying access to the foldcourse, which increased levels of peasant discontent

Rebels wanted the government to act on the promises of reform which had been made by Somerset’s enclosure commission
