What is kamikaze about ?
The daughters perspective of her dad’s journey as a kamikaze pilot . She thinks of ways her dad had a reason to turn back in the first few stanzas . Once her dad did come back though , we see the impact of honour and how he had dishonoured his country and his family by not killing himself . They do not speak to him , so really he dies because he is not spoken too.
