multiple debridements eventually followed by a MIT (minimally invasive transbuccal) approach for further debridement.
3
Q
Why was the MIT approach performed?
What alternatives to this approach were proposed?
A
- Gain better orthogerade instrument access to curette the lesion and re-initiate granulation.
- alternatives would have been a trephination for debridement from above, or a surgical option such as a muscle transposition flap
