What is Justification?
The term ‘justification’ is a legal term that refers to the act of pronouncing someone righteous and/or acquitted of being guilty. Justification is a blessing that is bestowed on us by God because of our faith in God and God’s act of salvation in Jesus Christ.
What happens in Justification?
In Justification, God declares that we have met His standards of holiness and righteousness because Jesus Christ did it for us and we have accepted Him as Lord of our lives.
The reality of being justified by God is important because?
We have PEACE w/ God, we have ACCESS to God, and we are SAVED from the wrath of God
II Corinthians 5:21 affirms?
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
Romans 5:1 affirms?
“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
