What makes someone eligible for jury service?
A
- Between 18-75
- Uk resident for atleast 5 consecutive years
- Must be on electoral register
- Under the s1 juries act 1974

Disqualified for life
A
- Due to life imprisonment or have been sentences more than 5 years or more at any time in their life.

Temporarily disqualified for ten years
A
- If they have been subject to prison term of 5 years or less on bail.

Ineligible - mental illness
A
- Any mental disorder under the Mental Health Act 1983
- Psychopathic disorder
