Achenbach’s syndrome
Achenbach’s syndrome is characterized by paroxysmal spontaneous subcutaneous bleeding in the fingers and hands. The diagnosis is clinical; there are no confirmatory laboratory or imaging tests. Achenbach’s syndrome is benign and self-limited; bruising resolves without specific treatment.
