Amazing, impressive. Washington’s prodigious accomplishments have earned him the title of the father of our country.

Toleration, endure stress. Those trapped by poverty only survive by means of their long sufferance.

Compensate for something done wrong. I must redress my error in judgement.

Make up, conjure. In my opinion, Cassius was the one who instigated the conspiracy.

Ghostly appearance, dream. The lights were only a phantasm of his dream.
