-emphasises the tragedy of the story ,the audience has just watched Romeo kill him self
-Juliet is truly alone and the friar is about to run away

-uses adjective happy to describe it as she believes the dagger will ultimately bring her happiness
-suggests she must drive it into her body where it is it’s rightful resting place
-challenging gender stereotypes as Romeo took the poison and Juliet stabbed her self
