DEASHI HARAI 出足払 → ADVANCING, COMING OUT | LEG/FOOT | SWEEP
English Technique Name: FORWARD FOOT SWEEP
Nage Waza: Ashi Waza

A

Kuzushi: RIGHT REAR

While moving backwards, take a step with your right foot behind your left foot with your toes facing 180 degrees away from your other foot giving your other leg plenty of room to swing. When your opponent has taken a step forward and is on the verge of placing his weight on the stepping foot beside you, use your left foot to sweep that foot from the rear. As you turn, move your right (lapel) hand upward pushing into their neck and push the side of their elbow with your left (sleeve) hand making sure you are turned enough so that you are pushing your hand striaght out from your torso as opposed to across your torso in a sideways motion.
