What is the duration of a judgment creditor’s rights?

A

Twenty years–can be extended for additional 20 years by motion to the court that rendered the judgment
* Alternatively, the creditor may obtain a new judgment by bringing an action to the hold judgment

They must be “domesticated,” which means the creditor need only:
1. Register the judgment in the office of the clerk of the court where the enforcement is sought AND
