A
They worshiped many gods and gave human sacrifices. Abraham thought this was wrong and there was only one god so he left

They travelled around and Abraham felt the that he was closer to God. Jews believed that god promised Abraham he would be the father of a great nation and all his children would have the same relationship with god.
