He and his disciples were caught picking corn but the pharisees caught them and said it was against the law and bad. He then told them how David, a great hero was hungry desperate and tired and took bread.

That only the priests were allowed to eat but they didn’t argue further as David was still a great hero. After, Jesus went to the synagogue and met a man with a paralysed hand.
