What is the abrahamic religion?
Abrahamic Religion: A group of religions centered around worship of the God of Abraham.
What is the passover meal?
Passover meal: Hebrew word “seder” translates to “order,” and the Passover seder is a home ritual blending religious rituals, food, song and storytelling. Specific foods have important spiritual meanings, like, A roasted shank bone represents the Pescah sacrifice, an egg represents spring and the circle of life, bitter herbs represent the bitterness of slavery.
What is the religion of the book?
Religion of the book: Muslims believe that Jews and Christians have strayed from God’s true faith but hold them in higher esteem than pagans and unbelievers. They call Jews and Christians the “People of the Book” and allow them to practice their own religions.
What is the promise land?
Promise Land: The land that was given to Abraham and his descendants according to the promise God made in the Bible.
What does israel mean?
Israel: Hebrew name meaning God contended.
What is God?
God: Spiritual being or high-level entity.
What is monotheistic?
Monotheistic: There is only the one true God.
What is a synagogue?
Synagogue: Building/temple for Jewish public prayer, study and assembly.
What is the sabbath?
Sabbath: A Day of religious observance and abstinence from work, kept by Jewish people from Friday evening to Saturday evening, and by most Christians on Sunday.
