Lack of sleep and long hours destabilized Ian’s epilepsy and his seizures became almost uncontrollable. He often had seizures at shows which left him feeling ashamed and depressed. Te band thought his depressed behavior was part of the show and related well to the lyrics, never realizing how internally damaged e really was.
