I learned some time ago that doing the same thing every day is not for me as I enjoy problem-solving in fast-paced environments. This is why i branched off from my original path in accounting (where I felt like a robot) and found something that still lets me utilize my analytical skills (and even my knowledge of accounting) but also get to utilize more of my intellectual curiosity. While working at Serene Country Homes I was directly responsible for many of these same tasks and played a key role in all procurement activities. A great job is one where I am excited about coming to work, and that’s what I think this position offers.

Invitation Homes is a leading owner and operator of single-family homes for lease, with over 80,000 homes, we currently provide homes to 120,000 residents in 17 markets.
Invitation Homes is meeting demands through their mission, “Together with you, we make a house a home,” This mission is reflected in the high-quality updated and renovated homes and commitment to high-touch service (such as 24/7 Emergency Maintenance, Top-level property management, Smart Home technology feature, and Easy online payment system) as well, provides homes where individuals and families can thrive.
Still kind of a baby company found in 2012. They are approaching their 2nd year as a publicly traded company and just recently appointed a new CEO/President co-founder Dallas Tannar.
Why do you want to work here?
Invitation Homes is a leader in the industry, not a follower. And it is lead by its co-founder who has been acknowledged by many business experts for his accomplishments at Invitation Homes.
I want to be apart of the success at a company who is known as a industry leader and where I can make my contribution as they continue to innovate and grow in the market. I think my proactive style will fit in really well - especially in this particular role.
