What is your biggest regret?
You know what I don’t have a regret in my life because I tried not to look in that way. I believe everything is a learning experience. It will help you to be a stronger and better person. Just believe in your yourself and have always a positive mind and attitude.
Tell me something about yourself.
Hi! My name is. I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy last March 2018. After graduation, I decided not to work immediately because I wanted to be a CPA first before I start working because I believe that there will more amd better opportunities that will come when you become a cpa. So what I did, I enrolled myself in a review center to prepare myself for the incoming CPA board examination. I took up the board exam on May 2019 but unfortunately I’m one of the 83.54% examinees who didn’t pass. I know that I did my best and I believe everything happened for a reason and I belirve. God has a perfect timing for everyone. Maybe its not yet my time to be a cpa. But I still believe in God and in myself that one day I will be able to get that license. And even if I failed the board it doesn’t mean that I’m not qualified anymore for the position. I may not be as intelligent as the other candidates but I can promise you that I will work the hardest. I will be more dedicated to the task than anyone else.
I’m a very hardworking person and very organize. I’m also an easy going person that works well with everyone and I like to always challenge myself to improve at everything I do.
Why should I hire you?
You should hire me because I’m a very hardworking, organize, honest and detailed oriented person. I may not be as intelligent as the other applicants but I will prove to you that I will do my best for every task that will be given to me and I will work very hard to be a valuable asset of your company and not a liability.
Greatest Strengths
My greatest strength is I’m a task oriented person because I don’t stop until the task is accomplished and I’ll make sure that I will be able to finish the task given to me on time without sacrificing the quality of my work.
Other Strengths:
Optimistic- Just like what I have experienced recently. Even if I failed the cpa board exam last May 2019, I still believe in myself and in God that I will be able to get that license in the future and one day I’ll be thanking myself for being positive and not giving up.
Hardworking- I know in myself that I’m not that intelligent just like the others. But I will assure you that I will work very hard because I don’t want to cause problems in the company where I’ll be working. I’ll make sure that I will be able to finish my task on time without sacrificing the quality of my work and I will do my best to be an asset of your company.
Greatest Weakness
I feel my English ability is my weakest trait. Sometimes also, I talk fast to the point that I’m already eating my words. But of course there is always a room for improvement. I know this only a temporary problem. just need to practice a lot to communicate more effectively and that’s what I’m planning to do while I’m with your institution.
- Being too detailed oriented because I want everything to be perfect. This is bad because it slows down my work.

I’ll give myself a rate of 7 because what I did is I split it evenly between skill/qualification and passion/attitude. I’m going to give myself a score of 4 when it comes to skill because I’m eager to learn about your accounting system and I’m eager to be trained by people who are already professionals in the field of accounting but I’ll be giving myself a score of 4 again when it comes to passion because I’ve been waiting for this opportunity for a long time and I’ll make sure that I will do my best and I’m not going to make you regret your decision if you’re going to give me a chance.
