To promote world peace and friendship. Basically to help the peoples in other countries with trained manpower
Who is Fidel Castro and why is he significant?
The leader of Cuba, He declared Cuba communist and welcomed Russia aid
What is the Crisis over Cuba?
Cuba is going communist (Truman doctrine is failing)
What is the Bay of Pigs about?
CIA plan to get rid of Fidel Castro by giving exiles weapons to overthrow him. JFK is fully responsible
What is the Cuban Missile Crisis about?
American planes saw missile bases in Cuba. They could reach U.S. cities in minutes.

What is the deal with Nikita Kruschev?
He throught the U.S. Naval Blockade was outright banditry. He promised to challenge it. In the end he dismantled the missle base when U.S. said they wouldn’t invade Cuba.

The Wall divided the Capital Berlin into West Communist and east Democratic republican. JFK errected the wall
