What happened in the ‘healing of the man with the evil spirits’?
A man was possessed with evil spirits which caused him to hurt himself. The spirits were so strong that the man broke free of chains and he ran to Jesus and feel to his knees in front of him. The demons called Jesus ‘son of the most high God’ and referred to themselves as ‘Legion’ for there were many of them. Jesus allowed them to pass into 2000 pigs which ran into the lake and drowned. Jesus told the man to spread the news of what had happened

A storm broke out and threatened to sink the boat which the disciples and Jesus were in. Jesus calmly instructed the wind to calm down and it obeyed. On seeing this the disciples were ‘terrified’ and asked each other ‘who is this? Even the winds obeys him!’

A crowd gathered around Jesus and his disciples but thee were only 5 loaves and 2 fishes . Jesus blessed the food and told his disciples to distribute it. All 5000 people ate and there were 12 baskets of food left over

Jarius, a synagogue leader, begged Jesus to heal his daughter. When Jesus arrived the girl was already dead but Jesus revived her. This could only happen because the girls father demonstrated faith by asking Jesus for help
