He is seen as a saviour because he saved paying and taking away all of their sins. He is seen as a redeemer because he paid for all the sins which freed and allowed humans to live without sin.Through his death and suffering he opened a way into heaven for Christians

A
Saving is for the future and present whereas redeeming is for the past and removing any bad things/sins done in the past
