Some Christians believe jesus’ life and death is an act of atonement for the sins of the world and the salvation is offered to all those who believe this
Incarnation
Jesus was God incarnated. Jesus wasn’t conceived in the same way as other humans. Mary was told by angel Gabriel she was a virgin when she gave birth - immaculate conception
Crucifixion
Jesus’ conflict brought him into conflict with Jewish authorities. Accused him of blasphemy. Romans crucified him to ensure he died in agony
Resurrection
Jesus rose from the dead is the greatest miracle and evidence Jesus was God. All gospels agree that the Sunday following his death his followers found his tomb empty
Ascension
After Jesus rose from dead. Gospel says he ascended to heaven to his father. Marked the end of Jesus’ physical presences on earth but his spirit left on earth
