- 3 days after his death on the cross Jesus came back to life - “It is true! the Lord has risen”
- an angel moved the boulder from the front of his tomb
- Mary and another woman go to Jesus’ tomb and the angel tells them he is not there
- They find Jesus and clutch his feat + worship
- shows Jesus defeated death

A
- led his apostles to Bethany, blessed them, told them to spread the word of God
- was taken up in a cloud to heaven
- two men in white robes appeared and said why are they looking up
- they replied “Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return”
- Holy Spirit later descended as Jesus said
