A

It damaged japans faith as they relied heavily on the international economy because they were filling gaps in Asia, they were very concerned about the US as a trade partner. This created distrust.

A

It was an incident staged by the Japanese military, to serve as their reason to take over Manchuria. they accused Chinese men of sabotaging railroads between China and Japan.

A

they called for a cease-fire which only China followed, and later in an investigation they found Japan to be the aggressor and should have to pay sanctions and leave, however, japan just left the league of Nations instead.
